Who we are

LiveNote is provided by Nibble Audio, Inc. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the LiveNote iOS app, visit this website, or contact us for support.

Information handled by the app

LiveNote does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on servers operated by us or on our behalf.

• Note content: Text you enter is handed to Apple's ActivityKit on your device so iOS can display it as a Live Activity. The app does not send that text to us, and we do not have access to it.
• Local preferences: The app may store small preference values on your device. They are not transmitted to us or used to identify you.

Notes are intentionally visible on your Lock Screen and may appear on compatible Apple devices connected to your account. Avoid placing sensitive information in a Lock Screen note if other people may see your device.

What the app does not use

LiveNote has no account system and does not use advertising, analytics, tracking, profiling, contact-book access, location, camera, microphone, or third-party login services. We do not sell or share app data.

Apple services

Apple provides the App Store, payment processing, app distribution, and the operating-system features used by LiveNote. Apple processes information under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your payment-card details. You can read the Apple Privacy Policy.

Retention and deletion

Because we do not receive app data, we have no server-side note or account data to retain or delete. iOS controls the Live Activity lifecycle. A Live Activity can remain visible for up to 12 hours, and you can remove it from your Lock Screen at any time. Removing the app deletes its locally stored app data from your device.

Support messages

If you choose to email us, we receive your email address, the message, and any information you include. This communication happens outside the LiveNote app. We use it only to respond, provide support, prevent abuse, and keep necessary business records. Our legal bases are performing our agreement with you and our legitimate interest in supporting and improving LiveNote.

We do not use support messages for advertising. We normally delete them within 24 months after the request is resolved, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for legal, security, or dispute purposes. Our email service provider processes messages to deliver the service and may process them in countries outside your own, subject to legally required safeguards.

This website

This website does not use advertising, behavioral analytics, contact forms, or non-essential cookies. It is hosted by Vercel, which may process basic request information such as IP address, browser or device information, and request logs to deliver and secure the site. Vercel handles that information according to its Privacy Policy.

Children

LiveNote does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. The app does not include social features, public content, advertising, or communication between users.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of personal data. Since we do not receive data through the app, these rights mainly apply if you have contacted us for support. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if LiveNote or applicable requirements change. We will publish the updated policy here and revise the date above. If the app begins collecting data in the future, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy information before that collection begins.
